Make your own bath bombs, phunny foam and magic tricks with the Wild Science Bath Bomb Factory.
GREAT FUN , 2008-12-28 I bought this for my 10 year old daughter who is very arty and loves making things. She thought it was fantastic and thoroughly enjoyed making the bath bombs. I had to supervise at the beginning but she was more than capable to measure out and make them independently. We didnt try out any other experiments so cannot comment about them.
Would recommend to anyone whose child are very much into making things and a mess!! I will be purchasing another one very soon.
(P.S keep an eye on your perfume ladies as it makes great smelling bath bombs!)

Fab gift, 2008-12-30 My 21 month old son received this as a Christmas gift from my sister-in-law and he absolutley adores it. All of my family live in the UK and I live in the US so my son doesn't get to see my family very often. This is great for him because not only does he see photographs of my brothers, sisters and parents but he gets to hear their voices too! The book itself is sturdy and nicely bright and colorful. He uses the fabric tabs to turn the pages and he's discovered that he can control who he wants to listen too by pressing the corresponding button on their page.
This book is perfect not only for little ones but for older children with long-distance family. The messages can be re-recorded and they will not erase when the battery dies. I can see my son using this book for many years to come.

Great value for money, 2008-12-11 I bought this so that I would hear the doorbell in my home office when all the doors in between are closed to keep the heat in.
It does exactly what I need and the sound is nice and clear. Can't go wrong for the money.
I had expensive Tomy baby monitors when my kids were small, and for more than three times the cost I can't say that the build quality was much better really. (They did have room temperature indicators though).

- Escape...that's the aim in this fun traffic jam game!
- Rush hour is a sliding block game designed to challenge your sequential thinking skills...and secret aspirations to be a traffic cop!
- Select a challenge card...but can you clear a path through the congestion to make good your escape?!
- Single-player game for age 8 to adult by Ravensburger. Box dimensions 22.5 x 20 x 6cm.
A good gift - A+, 2008-11-18 I bought this last year for my then 5 year old son, but my 8 year old daughter enjoyed it more at the time and now they both play it - very good toy - keeps the mind going - even for the adults. Good for keeping them quiet for a while. Very durable - just don't lose any of the cars, (which shouldn't happen if they pack it away in the provided bag). I am now buying 'hoppers' this xmas in the hopes that it brings as much pleasure and quiet time!

Connect to see the learning and share the fun! Play anywhere and learn everywhere with the Pink handheld Leapster 2! With a huge amount of animated software games available, featuring your favourite characters, learning is fun and exciting. Kids
Great for children, 2009-01-05 I replaced my two daughters (4 & 6) leapsters with the new Leapster 2. All the old games work on the new Leapster...agt times they do not recognise them abd all i do is reinsert them and they are fine, this only happens now and again. The only thing is this model does not come with a screen cover, however my daughters didn't use the covers on the old leapsters so i am just going to use some screen protectors. I do not have any problems about re-calibrating the screen on either of the models. This is ideal for younger children and a much cheaper alternative to the D.S and games can be picked up cheap on ebay. My daughters have had a Leapster for over a year now and still play with it as much as they did then. RECOMMENDED!

The Numbers Strategy Game that's never the same! The fast-paced game of tile manipulation that challenges each player's wit against the other. The object of the game is to be the first player to go Rummikub by using all tiles in Runs or Groups and accumulating the highest score. One of the world's most compulsive family games, like all the best it's easy to learn and a challenge to master! An opportunity for parents and older children to bond and improve co-ordination and mathematics skills. You can't beat this game for playability and value for money. I thoroughly recommend it - Managing Director
Modern classic, 2008-07-21 There are thousands of new games every year. Most of them disappear without a trace. Some acquire a devoted but small following. Just a few become classics. Rummikub is one these.
Invented in Romania in 1940, Rummikub is essentially a tile version of the traditional card game Rummy. It didn't really make it internationally until the 1970s, but by 1980 it had won a string of awards and established itself as a great family game.
Basically, it's about creating sets of three or more in a row of tiles either in runs of the same colour (1-2-3-4 etc), or the same number but in different colours. The winner is the person who gets rid of all their tiles first. The clever bit is that you can rearrange the tiles already on the board in order to place your own tiles, and the final score is the total of everyone else's leftover tiles after you've finished.
You might be wondering either i) what's all the fuss about or ii) why not just get a pack of playing cards and play regular Gin-Rummy?
First off, this is a genuinely addictive game which relies more on observation and logic than on chance, which you can learn in minutes but takes months (or more) to master. Quite small children can play it, but it's also a very challenging game for competitive adults. It's completely international, and can be played without having a single word in common with the other players.
Second, the design of the tiles makes this a much more satisfying game than Gin-Rummy. Cards are always a bit fiddly for complicated rearranging games, and this is especially the case for a game aimed at different ages. If you're a real games fanatic, you may find Mah-Jongg a better choice, but Mah-Jongg is too complicated to explain to most young children, and takes too long to quickly introduce to visiting friends.
Rummikub is one of a very few games that holds its interest for years and years.
Strongly recommended, and also highly educational.
