Let me just say that I am fifty years old and wanted this to stand on my computer desk (sad I know!) and it fits the purpose perfectly. I don't think it would be very durable as a toy for a small child, all it does is roll and its arms and head are slightly movable. I chose the rusty one for authenticity but the factory fresh one would probably stand out better on a beech desk like mine. Definitely NOT SUITABLE FOR TODDLERS who put their toys in their mouth!

bought this for my gormiti mad son, he loves it but to an adult its flimsy, very cheap plastic and not worth the money. The board is good but unless you have the forest and volcano playset to use instead of the ultra shoddy sets it comes with then it really does look cheap and nasty
But that all said, my son loves it,.........

Totally agree with the other reviewer - my son loves this - it was a surprise for Xmas for him and he was really pleased with it. Not a huge amount of bubble bath in it, and I wish the legs could move too, but then it's not really a functioning toy. Great aesthetic appeal for all the Dr Who fans out there. Excellent. Oh, one more thing... DELETE!!!!!

My son got this for his fifth birthday and has not stopped playing with it since. It is well constructed and easy to work. Very tough and incredibly cute and expressive!
The only problem is that Wall-e is so cute that my 2 1/2 year old son's tantrum quota has shot up as he wants to play with him too!

New improved version, 2008-12-03
I just got this toy in yesterday from my store, and though all the critical reviews of this thing i am very very impressed with this one. It has taken quite some time to hit the stores in denmark, and apparently it has paid of. Hasbro seems to have listened to all the people who have complained about the legs. I was really worried to get this one because of that, but when i got it home and put it together the legs didn't pop out even when my cat stands on this thing it easily stands up.
The old version may have problems but this new improved one is absolutly the jewel in my collection. Its only sad that you have to get into these price classes for hasbro to install sound and light, Kenner was better at doing these things to the small veichles

New Edition with 2 Gold Gormiti!, 2008-12-04
I have just received this item today and it includes 2 completely Gold coloured Gormiti figures rather than the 2 normal red figures shown in the picture. I have uploaded a photo which you can see by clicking on 'customer image' near the Amazon photo. I think this is a Europe edition as it has other European languages first on the box. The figures are called 'The Fiery Angel' and 'Firespitter'. I think this is a completely updated model as the Volcano looks different too eg there is no green flora over it.
I must admit I haven't taken it out of the box yet as it's a Christmas present but it looks sturdy and impressive.
The volcano opens out completley and has a puncher, a fire dragon, an opening mouth, lookout, firing tongue and talon. It opens out completely to reveal secret hideaways. I thought I'd do a quick review as things have obviously changed since the only other review. Surprisingly it's very large compared to the Murena Den playset we already have. You could get away with giving this as a main Christmas present for a 4 year old.
I'm very pleased with it so far. I will update this review after Xmas when it has been properly road tested my my Gormiti mad sons. The creatures have accompanied them from sandpit, to bath, to bed for the last 6 months are are definitely value for money.
The second edition of Gormiti characters are coming out soon and look even more impressive so I think this toy will stay popular for at least the next year.
Highly recommended. My sons will think it's worth the money for the Gold Gormiti alone. I bought this item direct from Amazon yesterday so other sellers might still have the old not so good edition.

Davros has to be one of the scariest Who villains beside the Daleks ever to be shown on screen. Davros was the evil crippled Kalid creator of the Dalek race who experimented on the radiation exposed kalid people, to create the ultimate cyborg race. But it wasn't long before the Daleks decided that Davros was no longer there mentor and seemingly killed him. But a real bad guy can't be killed off and in the true tradition keeps on coming back. Russell T Davies brilliantly decided to bring back Davros who is updated in the style of the new series. But is still just as evil as ever and trying to take over the universe in ever grander schemes. This remote toy is a true delight and it's in scale with the large remote Daleks. The detailing is first rate and it even has added 'voice' quotes from the series. I imagine that this can be played with alongside a Dalek remote Toy ? presuming that the radio frequencies used are different ?.
