Bought this for my 4 year old and also as a gift for friends daughter who is 6 and they both loved it. What a relief to find something that is exciting but also educational, and lasts more than 5 minutes. A very worthwhile present.

I havn't given this 5 stars as the pack is only as good as the people playing them, but we had a few games of Snap over the holiday's and it was lots of fun. I believe there are other games to play with these also. Good for all age groups 3 - 93 !

Good value basic Nerf Gun, 2010-07-05
I bought the Nerf N-Strike Nite Finder Ex-3 for my 8 year old son and he is very happy with it.
his Nerf gun is a single shot gun requiring "re-arming" by pulling back a spring lever for each shot. The claims that it fires 35ft are not exaggerating and within 5 minutes my son had lost 2 of the 3 supplied bullets, one over the garden fence and the other 20ft up in a tree. I'd recommend buying spare bullets when you get your Nerf gun.
The Nite Finder includes a lightbeam for targeting which is switched on when pressure is put on the trigger. This feature requires 2xAA batteries which are not supplied.
I know it's politically incorrect but the gun is great fun for kids & seems quite sturdy, although I'm not sure how the spring lever will stand up to heavy use. Educational value for this kind of toy is an interesting concept, but it will aid judging distances and hand/eye coordination. The mechanism and the mechanics of how it all works may also interest the kids. The only disappointment was that the sonic whistler darts made no sound that I could hear.
Overall, a fun toy but to avoid tears remember to buy the spare ammo.

A real winner!, 2009-06-13
I played this game with my parents when I was growing up so I was delighted to see it still being marketed today and the game has hardly changed at all. I bought this for my daughters 9th birthday and she loves it as much as I used to. There are lots of rules but there is an excellent set of clear large print instructions which you can refer to when you need to. It is an excellent educational toy, the game in essence being a simple board game that takes you through the stages of life from choosing your career path to marriage, children, house buying, investments and opportunities along the way until reaching retirement at the end where all your decisions ultimately determine how much money you retire with! A super game for all the family - young and old!!!

Cranium Wow is all I hoped it would be: imaginative, smart, silly and great fun! The only category none of us can master is the anagram questions. Well worth the money and I highly recommend it.
