Does everything a sterilizer should, but seems to take up less space. Had seen many of the circular ones and they seemed to take over the worktop! This is flat at the back we push it back against the wall out of the way when we've finished with it. Probably less flexible in terms of what you can get in it - it will hold 6 'normal' bottles, but less if they are wide ones. We use the MAM ultivent ones at the moment, and with the wider screw on bases and valves I can get 5 in, but it's rare I'd want to do more than that anyway.
The lift out tray at the top that holds the teats/caps is useful to use to assemble the bottles on.
One-button operation to start the steam cycle is easy, but you have to turn it off at the wall to reset it, there's no on-off switch on the unit.
The base stores in the main unit with the power cable if you ever want to transport it, so that's compact too.

A great deal for a few pounds, 2008-09-29
I really don't know what the problem is with some people that can't handle anything a little different that what they are used to. The puzzle can be opened without any trouble, you just had to rip the bottom edges carefully and that's it.
It's a great puzzle, mi 5 year's old had lots of fun with it, I totally recommend this product (the one with the pictures of the monsters too).

Good all age fun, 2008-11-22
This is definately a family favourite. It has been on holiday with us (just take the tiles out of the box) for the last 5 or 6 years and I doubt we will ever grow out of it. It makes a great timeless present for all ages with the exception of the very young.

A good gift - A+, 2008-11-18
I bought this last year for my then 5 year old son, but my 8 year old daughter enjoyed it more at the time and now they both play it - very good toy - keeps the mind going - even for the adults. Good for keeping them quiet for a while. Very durable - just don't lose any of the cars, (which shouldn't happen if they pack it away in the provided bag). I am now buying 'hoppers' this xmas in the hopes that it brings as much pleasure and quiet time!

I have been a fan of Friends ever since it started, and like nothing better than watching the re-runs whenever I happen to catch them on TV! When someone gave me this game for a birthday present, I was really pleased.
You get to choose from Friends related items as your playing piece, amongst them a coffee cup, a Laz-E-Boy chair and the frame found on Monica's door around the peephole (my piece of choice)! As with the normal Scene It, you can play a short round or a longer game, and questions vary from guessing the next line to be said (this is usually multiple choice), working out anagrams of guest stars, answering a question from a crossword, and many other questions from the 10 series. If I had my way, I would get rid of the multiple choice options (sometimes this makes it too easy), and it's also important that you have at least one other Friends addict to play against, otherwise it's not much fun!
A very entertaining game for fans of the show.

I used to play Uno as a child on Boxing Day at my Uncles with the family and it became our Boxing Day tradition for many years - 3 generations 11 players. After leaving home and forgetting all about it I stumbled across a pack, bought it and became hooked again! Once you get your head around the rules (takes a couple of trial games to teach new users) it is addictive, so much so that a bunch of twenty-somethings on a NYE trip in Prague spent the cold and snowy days embroiled in a 4 day Uno championship match after partying hard each night before, and a new set of Uno fans were born! I have just bought 2 new sets of cards as the original is now very hard to find with various new versions available which for the nostalgic part of me are not quite the same.
Note the bad reviews are seemingly because the players didn't know how to play/understand the rules? It isn't simply a game of luck, but good old fashioned fun for all ages and its beauty is in its simplicity!

Connect 4 is a classic game. It's essentially a more complex version of Noughts and Crosses, but with gravity dropped (!) in. You have to drop your pieces down the slots in turns, and create a line of four in a row. At first, it sounds simple, but there are skills - creating traps and forcing your opponent into them. It is a game I have played literally thousands of times and it never gets tired.
