Go Gos Still Going..., 2008-11-17 ...in Series 2 'Evolutions' - so named because the original 80 Go Gos have kept their basic shape but changed colour and design in every conceivable way in the second wave or their quest for world domination. Like the first series for my five-year-old son these are the next big thing. A packet of three Go Gos with stickers costs only one pound so they fall very nicely into the pocket money bracket. The figures themselves are small, colourful, durable and bursting with individuality and personality. Eighty to collect (plus different colour combinations) will keep him going.
Get the new album as well (if you haven't already) - it is a must-have. Again, it costs only one pound and has comic strips this time and fun statistics about how much the new Go Gos have evolved. It also has 80 new names for them all! Why the five stars for educational value? Well, my son looks at this album all the time and can now easily recognise the numbers from 1-80. He also happily copies out the characters' names so improving his writing skills.
Go Gos are still great - the only downside is they get everywhere in our house. From personal experience it's not nice to tread on one with bare feet!!

Scrabble, 2008-12-31 I don't understand the mentallity of the last two reviewers.
1. It never said it was an "upgrade." It is the original...
2. The scabble set the guy played before must have been the travel edition or similar.
3.It doesn't come with a scorepad? Think and just get a piece of paper. You have bought a game which requires intelligence!
Besides, the game is great. Makes you rack your brain for words and a great way to encourage young children to read books and learn more vocabulary. Don't listen to the bad reviews. Just get the game!

- This special 60th Anniversary edition makes a lovely gift for Scrabble fans or those new to the game
- Comes with a translucent board and opaque green tiles with silver lettering
- The iconic tile racks have also been given a radical makeover
- Each player must make the best use of 7 letter tiles drawn at random
- For 2 - 4 players
As good as the original - and better!, 2009-01-06 I've played with the original many times although this is the first set that I've owned. I like it. It's good quality and although the colour and the overall design may not appeal to traditionalists and/or people with poor eyesight, it is more functional (pieces are locked-in place by the raised edges of the grid) than the original and well worth it at the same (low) price.

Simply enchanting, 2008-11-04 A well made and beautiful toy any young Disney princess fan is sure to love.
Just add children and water for plenty of fun and once the mat is wet let it dry and you can start again.
The pens don't last forever but the rest seams quite durable.

- Themed Flextime game board enables players to choose the length of gameplay
- Test your knowledge with image quizes, puzzlers and questions from the first five Harry Potter films
- For 2 or more players
Loved it but needs to be a bit more difficult, 2007-12-09 I love Harry Potter so therefore loved this game! If you've played any other version of scene it then the concept will be pretty familar if not then i'll give you a keep run through of what to expect:
You have to roll 2 die...a numbered one and one with symbols which refers to the challenge you have to complete. You have to complete various challenges in order to win this game some are interavtive such as my play, all play and all play to win, there are question card's which are either about the magical world or the muggle world...usually question's about the actors and directors (they tend to be the most difficult) or you have to pick a house point card and follow what it says. if you get a question right you move the number of spaces on the dice.
Theres also party play if you can't bothered with using the board, it just gives you random questions and you have to be the first to answer.
Overall its good fun....if you're obcessed with harry potter (like me) and know both the films and the books you'll find this easy but it's still alot of fun.
If you already have the first edition don't bother with this, my friend made that mistake and wasted their money because there isnt much that's different.
The only thing is that more from the book needs to be added so avid fans may find that fact disappointing.
Its a good game for all the family....i especially enjoyed being able to win my dad at something.

Character Options
- A soft fun pillow that unzips to reveal a secret diary and more Hannah Montana surprises
- Write notes on fabric pages with washable pens
- Eight diary pages can be removed and washed, so you can be creative all over again!
- Also includes a MP3 player speaker and hook up
- Measures 15" x 12"
5 year old daughter loves this!, 2008-12-26 My daughter is 5, and loves this pillow. She has stolen my MP3 player (complete with her favourite music) and can lie in bed safely listening to music which is loud enough to hear through the pillow when pressed up against the ears, but never loud enough (even at full volume) to damage her ears unlike regular MP3 headphones.
She also loves to draw with the washable pen, although I suspect the novelty of this will wear out sooner than the measly one pen supplied. It also comes with compartments for photos/treasures drawings and other important secrets only 5 year olds can think up.
Overall, I am very impressed; particularly with the speaker aspect of this toy, which was not something I thought she knew about or would ever use.

Great Quality and Fantastic Fun., 2008-10-28 This is a great activity toy. It's one of those few toys that are well worth the money and get lots of use. My under 6s find it hilarious and although the game doesn't last very long they are so enthusiatic about playing it again they have no problem collecting up the butterflies, setting it up and starting again. I can't think of any other games where they are really happy to tidy up like this.
Parental help is required when loading the butterflies - you have to disconnect the nose hose at the base in order to put the butterflies in again. There is no way children can get their fingers stuck in the fan that blows out the butterflies and it has a great safety feature where the fan cuts out if the elephant is lifted up.
It is a well made toy. The hose is sturdy and has lasted 3 years+ without needing any kind of repair. I haven't noticed it eating batteries either. They seem to last a long time.
Most of the butterflies do come out pretty fast and furious but there are usually a few stragglers you 'hear' rising up the tube which adds to the anticipation of catching them. The butterflies don't fly far from the Elefun so there is usually a good chance of catching 2-3 butterflies. Especially if you hold a net in each hand. My children are equally happy trying to collect them with their hands though.
It's a really fun game and highly recommended for young children.
