- Vehicle shaped beads to thread.
- Lacing and string beads with thick cord and wooden "needle".
- Great play toyos too!
Educational but fun., 2010-01-09 I bought these for my almost 2 year old for xmas. He could thread them even without being shown but actually gets more fun from playing them without the cord. They engage him for ages, I ask him which is the fire engine, dumptruck etc and he loves pointing at the correct one and getting lots of praise, I am now using them for colour recognition. My only criticism is that I think the paint will get quite chipped with time as it is already flaking in parts. Lovely item with lots of uses. I think the whole range is fun and very bright. Recommended.

Exactly what it says on the box, 2007-09-23 This is a fantastic addition to anyone's Brio wooden railway set, the free wheeling feature is good for when you don't have a spare battery to hand!
And I could find no fault what so ever with the description contained on this page! It is matches exactly!

Set comprises of seven classic wooden vehicles for imaginative role-play. 3 Years +
Stylish yet fun!, 2010-01-12 I really like this le toy london set and so does my daughter (nearly 2 but I think she'll like 'em for ages to come). They are solid, colourful and nice to handle and make a nice traffic jam which, if you live in a large city (London?) then your kids will know all about such things and enjoy recreating them on the floor! Nice present and/or nice to own. I think we'll probably get her the le toy garage for her birthday so she can expand her play with them. By the way - They don't have any opening doors or anything but each one has a little hole in the back which I presume is for the petrol pump to fit into if you get the garage. They are quite light so wouldn't do terrible harm if chucked and seem pretty well made.

- BRIO Wooden Railway
- Remote control Railway Set for the 3 year old
- Light and sound features.
- Controller can operate 2 trains
Excellent for a 4 Year old Train Enthusiast, 2008-12-15 My 4 year old son got this on his birthday. He loves it. It is very well made -very durable. Batteries (supplied) seem to last forever. Quite speedy, and pulls a long line of carriages. Having the ability to control and initiate movement of trains adds greatly to the excitement of the Brio system. Highly recommended.

Brio
- Includes 3 bright carriages and 1 classic engine
- Includes 2 guide tracks
- Drive the train through the padded house
- Train can be played with off the track
- Total track length 1330mm/52.4" Recommended age 18 months+
Great first train set, 2008-03-10 Although most Brio is not recommended for children younger than 3 years old, this set is designated as being OK from 18 months old up. We bought it for our son's second birthday, and he absolutely adores it. The pieces all seem very robust, and there is relatively limited scope for him to do much damage with the pieces if he throws a tantrum. For instance the house is made of a soft material. Learning how to run the train on and off the tracks, keep it on the track, run it through the house and use the right magnet on each carriage to connect to the others has proved to be an absorbing exercise in physical and mental dexterity. Apart from the elegant simplicity of the tracks itself, all the pieces are brightly coloured with familiar fruits on the side of the carriages.
Of course, the real beauty of this system is that you can carry on adding track, rolling stock and accessories as the child gets older. Talking of the track, despite it seeming to be a relatively straightforward piece of construction, we have found that other makes of Brio-like track are of noticeably poorer manufacture and in some cases (such as that from Ikea) do not interconnect well. You may well pay more for the Brio brand name, but judging by the quality of this set, it is probably worth the extra.

Christmas Hiro, 2010-01-19 I bought this for my 23 month old son for Christmas, as he loves the film and his older brother's Thomas trains. He was thrilled with it and has hours of fun playing with it on his wooden railway and anywhere else he happens to be. The ELC wooden trains are very well made and stand up to a great deal of bashing during play. Hiro is particularly true to the film character and I've just bought the Patchwork Hiro, which is even better but was unavailable for Christmas, for his birthday.

Emily is a beautiful engine with shiny paint and brass fittings. After she rescued some stuck engines, Sit Topham Hatt rewarded her with a new pair of coaches.
o Emily..., 2009-11-18 If you have a train lover in your house, or are just beginning your child's collection, Emily is a definite must...
