I have been learning about Autism and theory of Mind and THIS toy is TERRIFIC to facilitate the Tower of Hanoi Puzzle on young children. One set of rings are put on the right pole and the child asked to move them all, with as few moves as possible to the left pole, to be in the same order, no large ring above a smaller ring. For more on that read "The Autism Spectrum in the 21st Century" from the GREAT OU & Jessica Kingsley Publishers !
I hope the paint does not rub off on other rings - but hey! if it does I shall just have to paint them again !

Very pleased with this product, colourful and good sturdy shapes easy for my 2 year old to handle. We have lots of fun with this toy while also learning at the same time. would definately recommend this product.

This is a great toy for 1yr+ (not too sure why it has 18mnts+ on it as it is perfectly safe and very suitable for 1yr+)

I gave it to my nephew for his first birthday, and I was delighted to see him really enjoying his stacking from the moment the present was opened.

Fantastic quality, 2010-03-22
This toy is fantastic quality and a must for any 1-2 year old's toybox. My two year old still loves to play with it and is learning the shape names now too. The only tiny negative is the nice, high-gloss black paint doesn't look that way for long! It is very durable, but soon looses its shine, which is a shame.

Bought these for my friends little boy who is 2 1/2. They are lovely and have provided hours of entertainment. They can be played with as little cars or threaded to help with co-ordination. A very good gift.

Educational but fun., 2010-01-09
I bought these for my almost 2 year old for xmas. He could thread them even without being shown but actually gets more fun from playing them without the cord. They engage him for ages, I ask him which is the fire engine, dumptruck etc and he loves pointing at the correct one and getting lots of praise, I am now using them for colour recognition. My only criticism is that I think the paint will get quite chipped with time as it is already flaking in parts. Lovely item with lots of uses. I think the whole range is fun and very bright. Recommended.

Teaches colours and helps with hand eye coordination. All the kids love this toy but I find after they finish banging the pegs they do tend to turn the mallet on each other. But a great toy for a boy or a girl.

It is an excellent toy. The parts are quite chunky, easy for little children to handle. It has wheels so it can be pull and push along. The parts can be rearrange and sorted the way the children like. Great educational toy for young children to learn about colour, shapes, structures as well as to develop their fine motor skills, dexterity, help story telling and game play. It is one of my best toys for the children I care for.
