Really nice and totally different present especially if your child is artistic and enjoys art. I am hoping to use the product with my three year old daughter to make her own occasion cards, it will be fun and alot cheaper then buying seperate items. Highly recommend.

i purchased this for my niece at christmas....she loves it.....the stamps are brilliant and very clear and you don't get the horrible inky outline of the stamp itself only the animal outline shows,the ink pad is a good size too.....it teaches lots of animals and the pencils are great for colouring the animals....the only down side i found was when you colour them in the ink smudges slightly but that could be down to me not waiting long enough for the ink to dry...i would recommend to anyone who has arty children

My 3-year old daughter was given this set for Christmas, and I would definitely recommend it (as long as her younger brother is napping while she plays with it). Good quality, good mix of bead colours/shapes. I especially like that the threads have long rigid shoelace-like ends, to help little hands manage the threading. My only criticism is that she can't put the lid back on herself, but it's a minor point. Lovely set.

One for the pony lovers, 2010-01-08
My little girls love this (aged 4 and 5). There's everything you need to get started apart from paper of any kind. Blank sheets are good to use though as a previous reviewer states a few printed pictures of fields or stables would have been a welcome addition.

All in a ll a well put together set, and worth the money as it will last and you can just replace the ink when it runs out.

Owl - Woodcraft Construction Kit

This is a very interesting kit to build. I'm retired and find this sort of kit helpful in keeping my brain and hands nimble, but I doubt if youngsters could complete it with some parental help, especially in selecting the order of assembly. A simple printed paper plan of some of the sub-assemblies would be useful.

Educational but fun., 2010-01-09
I bought these for my almost 2 year old for xmas. He could thread them even without being shown but actually gets more fun from playing them without the cord. They engage him for ages, I ask him which is the fire engine, dumptruck etc and he loves pointing at the correct one and getting lots of praise, I am now using them for colour recognition. My only criticism is that I think the paint will get quite chipped with time as it is already flaking in parts. Lovely item with lots of uses. I think the whole range is fun and very bright. Recommended.

A great boys stamp set, we have dinos everywhere now ! Pictures too small to colour but my son has had hours of fun making dino pictures all the same

I've now bought this set for two 4 year old girls,they loved them and so did their mothers!. This is good quality and tasteful, usually hard to find in girls toys. The box looks as good as the picture and makes a lovely gift. The strings are easy to thread and the bright wooden beads make really pretty jewelry.

great for developing motor and counting skills in toddlers, 2009-12-30
My two year old enjoys lacing the large wooden shapes onto the strings. My five year old enjoys using it too - as she can put them on in patterns or numerically.
The beads and string are of good quality and very bright BUT we do keep losing them as they roll under the sofa! So you will have to put them into a large biscuit tin or similar container because they come in an open-topped wooden box which is the only negative point.
