We bought this for my grandson's first birthday. Although he is not walking yet he immediately got up and started walking along and was so pleased with himself. This was my daughter's favourite toy from when she was only a few months old. It's small enough for young babies to grab hold of (a lot of other baby toys seem very chunky for tiny fingers) and can be rattled, chewed, thrown, etc. Like most babies, she had lots of toys, but this, along with another toy from the whoozit range, was favourite. I think this is probably a better toy for young babies than the large Mr Whoozit, which is just a little too big for them when they are that age.
