Heaven for Ashley, 2009-08-29
I bought this gun as a birthday present for my grandson following a recommendation from a work colleague with a child of similar age. Ashley has an older brother who received one of these guns for Xmas last year and was very envious. My husband and i had searched locally for a gun but the PC brigade had got there first and today's guns have to have a plastic seal on the end and this would not do - it was not 'real' enough. The gun proved an instant hit. The darts being foam are target friendly. The gun looks realistic and Ashley, who is 4, carts it about everywhere with him. I am not sure that any gun has educational value except to encourage imagination and, as a fight between between my step nieces proved, a lot less damaging that attacking each other with saucepans, their parents having banned weapons of any kind.

A great toy, 2010-02-17
Bought this for my son when he was about a year (he was an early walker). He's nearly 2 now and still loves it!

My son likes it!, 2010-03-07
Bought this for my son's xmas when he was 22 mths old, it was a bit of a nightmare putting together as its difficult to line up the bungee rope thing correctly, it took me and hubby a good while but I guess this is to be expected on xmas eve when you have a young child! Once it was set up it looks good, very durable, and a good size for indoor use, my son loved it but he has since become a little bored of it and it just sits there with toys under it and on it!

Essential Bachelor Pad Cannon Fodder, 2009-10-30
I brought two of these guns on a whim a couple of weeks ago, mainly so I was able to ambush my flatmate on his return from work. Since then, Nerf Wars have become an essential part of our evening ritual.

These guns are powerful (but the darts don't hurt), crazily accurate, and have held together well despite being bashed around and dropped by some of my clumsier friends.

If you're a bloke in search of some harmless man-fun, I'd highly recommend getting a couple of these.

Make sure you order some extra darts though - I brought 30 for a few quid extra which was well worth the investment.

Not sure if I'd give one to a kid - playing with these might turn them into a little soldier a bit before their time. Apart from that, 10/10.

To be honest the sledge arrived on the day before the snow melted so we were only able to use the product once. It was very durable and was smooth down the snowy hills. We are secretly hoping for more snow soon so we can have more fun with it!
