I bought this for my 3 year old nephew - he LOVED it! spent hours taking the toppings on and off, the pizza slice requires a realistic action through the velco. Its well made and create for 'lets pretend' play and counting. Really recommned it.

Purchased this item to go with a kitchen bought for my daughters 2nd Birthday. The eggs are very realistic and she loves the egg box to put them in and taken them out. Actual size so great for role play with pans, egg cups etc. Very good quality and value for money.

Lovely, bright wooden toy. My daughter became very interested in this toy at around 15 months. Love to watch her push mousey along! Great value and would make a nice present.

It's good to have six pegs. They were easy for my one and a half year old to hammer. Easy to turn over the toy and start from the other side. Great colours. Brought a sense of achievement in very quick time.

I think this a very sweet little toy, it is smaller than I imagined - but then again it is really quite cheap for a well made wooden toy. Its lovely and tactile with very cute little faces. The size actually works in its favour - great for chucking in your pocket or handbag for out and about. I don't really understand the criticism about it being dangerous if thrown - its a wooden ball - what do you expect? Any hard wooden object is going to be dangerous if thrown about, my son has wooden cars and rattles ... in fact many wooden toys as we try to avoid the hideous plastic stuff churned out in mass, yet do not worry about him lobbing them around! He is the youngest of 5 and I have yet to find throwing toys around the house an issue. I think this is a great toy and so does my son.

A toy for all ages, 2010-03-30
My 4-year-old daughter and her friends love it! For me the biig plus is that I can finally let my one-year-old play with her sister, without being afraid that she might swallow something (she likes to put everything in her mouth!). My four-year-old is also happy because her baby sister can't break, tear or chew this toy, so she actually wants to play with her! I will definately be buing more of melissa & doug.
