Melissa & Doug
present for a four yearl old, 2009-12-13 My friend from work said how much her grandaughter in OZ had enjoyed a similar product, some " girls" will remember the days when we used to cut the dolls and clothes out and then the tabs broke and the clothes kept falling off!!
Well not with this. I took it to Moscow as a birthday present for a little girl I didn't know and who didn't speak English. She loved it and played and played. My friend found one in a bag so this one in the box was rather heavy but as I travel light I was still under weight.

Bigjigs Toys
Junior Carpentry Set, 2010-01-07 Great Christmas present for my son who loves 'helping' with tasks around the place.
I would have liked the tools to have been sharper as in my experience the worst accidents come from forcing blunt tools to do a task but have done some sharpening myself an they now work much better.
Overall though a great little tool set which should delight many 'helping' hands.

Carpenters belt with wooden tools by Bigjigs Toys.
excellent toy, 2009-12-31 although the belt was adjustable it is a wee bit too big for my 3yr old. the tools are wooden and of good quality. my wee boy loved being just like his dad wearing his tool belt.

- Vehicle shaped beads to thread.
- Lacing and string beads with thick cord and wooden "needle".
- Great play toyos too!
Educational but fun., 2010-01-09 I bought these for my almost 2 year old for xmas. He could thread them even without being shown but actually gets more fun from playing them without the cord. They engage him for ages, I ask him which is the fire engine, dumptruck etc and he loves pointing at the correct one and getting lots of praise, I am now using them for colour recognition. My only criticism is that I think the paint will get quite chipped with time as it is already flaking in parts. Lovely item with lots of uses. I think the whole range is fun and very bright. Recommended.
