Fantastic toy, 2010-01-12
I was very surprised at the quality of this toy. It is much bigger than I expected and is great for a child to learn how to put shapes together and in the end have a reward of a great looking train they can push around the room. My godson loves it.

My two year old enjoys lacing the large wooden shapes onto the strings. My five year old enjoys using it too - as she can put them on in patterns or numerically.
The beads and string are of good quality and very bright BUT we do keep losing them as they roll under the sofa! So you will have to put them into a large biscuit tin or similar container because they come in an open-topped wooden box which is the only negative point.

This was one of my little girls xmas gifts and she absolutely loves it. The pieces are made of thick MDF and are really chunky and wasy to hold onto.

My mom suggested that i get a higher aged toy for my son because he was more advanced so i got this. As soon as he got it in his hands he started trying to master it. there are 12 shapes in all and they are brightly colored so it makes it more interesting. The top slides out so its easy to take them back out again. Its a good toy for shape recognition and color naming.

My little girls love this (aged 4 and 5). There's everything you need to get started apart from paper of any kind. Blank sheets are good to use though as a previous reviewer states a few printed pictures of fields or stables would have been a welcome addition.

All in a ll a well put together set, and worth the money as it will last and you can just replace the ink when it runs out.

the paper has transformed our easle which we had previously only used for chalk and now both my boys (4 and 1) enjoy drawing on the easle. Paper quality is fine for kids drawings.

Really nice and totally different present especially if your child is artistic and enjoys art. I am hoping to use the product with my three year old daughter to make her own occasion cards, it will be fun and alot cheaper then buying seperate items. Highly recommend.
