Very well made toy! Perfect movements (although they did not convince my two cats...)
But my two young daughters just loved it!
One default only: the LED red eyes spoil the very convincing spider aspect (I think I will paint them in grey color to frighten my visits).

The vibrate unit under the mattress, coupled with the annoyingly loud alarm buzzer has proved the only way of getting my 15 year old out of bed in the morning. It saves me 20 minutes of nagging every day, so it gets my vote!

I would definitely recommend it for the owners of stay-in-bed teenagers.

We bought this as a Christmas present for our 22 year old son. We were expecting lots of lads around that age over the Christmas period and thought it might amuse them. I had read previous reviews that suggested it might be a bit flimsy and recommended buying spare tail rotor blades but so far they haven't been needed. The helicopters were a big hit with all ages, they quickly got the hang of flying them although they are a bit tricky to manoeuvre. Recharge time was about 15 minutes which gave about 10-12 minutes flying time. One tip; whenever you switch it on be ready to adjust the 'trim' straight away otherwise it goes into a tailspin. Our have crashed into walls, doors and floors and are still going strong.

I really can recommend this RC Helicopter. It has given my grandson hours of pleasure and still going strong. Delivery was excellent and supplier highly recommended.

Great Value Chinook RC Helicopter, 2010-01-05
This was ordered as a 'boys toy' helicopter for Christmas (I am 46!!)
The remote control has taken some practice to get used to. (Tip - practice taking off from the duvet cover to minimise crashing initially.) I even made my own H-landing pad using Powerpoint software!! Make sure you charge for at least 45-60 mins to achieve maximum power in the on-board lithium cell battery for lifting off. Decreasing power is recognised by a gradually reducing flying height. Very realistic LED's when helicopter is flying. Only real fault is that there is supposed to be an LED which lights up when charging the 'copter which goes out when charged. This does not happen although the instructions mention this, unless anyone knows whether this was superceded on later designs of this particular Chinook ? Excellent detail an robust design - body made of tough ABS.
(Note :All parts are replaceable from Maplin Online, including Lithium Ion battery etc.)
