Rubik-tastic, 2010-07-13
The original and the best.
Highest quality and has the true Rubik's feel to it which some report as too stiff for speed but for me the original feel and motion is half the challenge.
Worth every penny and I recommend to all.
Packaging!!!, 2010-07-12
The toy is an all time classic, cant fault it. this is more of a complaint than a review. The packaging for the cube is ridiculous! It was in a massive box due to the stupidly big packaging for such a small cube. Theres no need for it, it needs to be reduced. Are we not supposed to be saving the enviroment...........

This was exactly as I expected it to be, and I managed to solve the puzzle using the helpful instructions included.
Poor build quality, 2010-08-02
I was really disappointed with the build quality of this 'official' cube. Within a day there were stickers peeling off where they were wither stuck in the wrong place or overlapping rough edges remaining from the moulding process.
Rubiks cube, 2010-08-16
I bought my rubik's cube from amazon just over a month ago for about £6. The item is the official item which comes in quite a unnecessarily plastic large box. Included in the box is the cube, a small plastic stand and a brief leaflet to help you complete the puzzle.
The cube is the traditional colours of red, blue, green, yellow, orange and white. The colours are stickers on the black plastic construction. This isn't the best idea because the stickers were not all carefully placed, which is disapointing because it makes it look a bit cheap. Another problem i have, is that if you catch the corner of the stickers, it creases and will never look the same as when it is new.
However, the game, as always very addictive, taking a huge amount of skill patience and a bit of luck. The construction makes it easy to manipulate the puzzle however, you get the odd occasion where the puzzle gets 'stuck' because the lines are not aligned properly which is annoying.
The stand is a good feature because it holds the cube on one of its corners doubles up to make it an ornament as well.
Finally, I must comment on the brief guide/instructions to help you get the furtherest you can in your puzzle. There are 8 keys steps which are the main moves which are recommended to use. They are very simple to follow, but a lot harder to do yourself!!
