My 4 month old loves this. It is really good quality with lovely smooth wood. Would be more appealing to a baby if it made more noise when rattled but I love it as its not too noisy and doesnt need batteries!

I bought this toy over a year ago, and it's still one of my daughters favourite toys. children of all ages love it, and it's a good one to take out with you.

Much sturdier than some, 2010-08-10
My LO loves the spinning butterflies on this push-along and I love the fact that it is very well made, sturdy and robust. We have two other smaller push-along toys which are ok but less helpful for walking practice. This one has rubber around the wheels which gives it grip even on wooden floorboards and has a good size handle. It also has an old fashioned, hand-made feel which gives it charm!

I bought this for my granddaughter who I look after two days a week. As she is almost one she is a bit young to walk along pushing this on her own. She loves taking out the colourful wooden blocks and it seems to be a toy she could play with for many months, or perhaps the next year or two. It is very easy to put the handle on the base when it arrives; it looks most sturdy. I would need to be right nearby as she starts to push it along as it could perhaps go a bit too fast for her at this stage. An excellent toy I would highly recommend. Good value too!

This is a beautifully made, solid, colourful train. It has one very simple activity on each carriage making it suitable for children as young as 9 months. The carriages also detach with a simple toggle, giving play variety. I bought this for a first Birthday present, but is the type of toy I would be delighted to receive for my own child as it looks as though it will stand the test of time. Simple, well thought out and with the child in mind.

I bought this for my 2 year old as a Christmas present and what a good choice it was. The construction was very easy to follow with no bits left over very sturdy and good quality but the end result was when my son seen it he played for 3 hours before opening any other toy! I rate this a big hit with kids who like to bang things best buy shome ear-plugs for yourself.

Great product for just helping your little one to walk.

Our 11 month old was just about walking if we held both hands - but with this she can push it along herself, gaining a little independence.

I suggest starting on carpet, or grass - as it slows it down, rather than on a hard floor - but as their confidence grows, a wood/laminate floor is great too.

It's good to have six pegs. They were easy for my one and a half year old to hammer. Easy to turn over the toy and start from the other side. Great colours. Brought a sense of achievement in very quick time.
